Ability Profiler Test
The Ability Profiler is a three hour skills and aptitude examination experience to help you learn what jobs you have the best abilities for. This is combined with Interest and Work Environment assessments to assist you in pursuing the most realistic and preferred jobs for you in our society.

Job Search Support Workshops
APR 5: Topic: “Guest Employer Presentation": Sara Edwards, Integrys Corporate Recruiter. Sara will present information on the subject of Applying for Jobs via the Internet, along with the Importance of Accuracy and Full Disclosure for background checks. Participants will come away with a clearer understanding of what employers are looking for in these areas. A better understanding should lead to better results for Job seeker.
APR 12:Topic: “Skills That Employers Look For”: There are many skills that employers look for. Some of these skills are directly related to the job and job performance. Job seekers often overlook or forget about the other skills that employers look for. These skills are a reflection of the job seekers' individual make up, personality, or behavior. Show these needed skills!
APR 19: Topic: “Developing and Demonstrating Confidence”: Having the right amount of confidence is vital to job seekers. Too little and you don't get noticed. Too much and you create the wrong impression. Make this a positive difference in your job search.
APR 26: Topic: “Food Safety”: U.W. Extension Presentation by Jan Safranski and Mary Jo Liesch : Have you ever missed work or "wanted to die" because of food poisoning? Experience it once and you'll never want to experience it again. Learn how to protect yourself, family, and friends from this preventable sickness with these easily doable helpful hints
NWTC ELL Classes:
English Learning Language Classes are open to clients who want to learn English language skills for citizenship or improve their job skills.
Veteran's Workshop
These 2 hour veteran informational group sessions will be held every week presenting general information on job searching, resumes, interviewing, resources and other information in a group setting. Additionally veterans will be able to ask questions on these various topics, as well as, set one-on-one appointments with a Veterans Employment Representative. - NOTE: Pre-registration is requested for this workshop.
